On our small family-farm in central Prince Edward Island we embrace farming traditions that make sense. We believe that happy meals start with happy turkeys and chickens.
We provide our birds with a cage-free and comfortable environment. We take a hands-on approach to caring for our flock, providing them with fresh bedding, water, and anything else they need.
We feed our flock a high-quality vegetarian diet with no animal byproducts. And we never use hormones, medications or antibiotics.
Innovation and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do at Larkin Farms. That’s why we also process our own turkeys and chickens, ensuring a minimum-stress environment and the very best practices at every stage of their life.

Welcome to our family farm, which is nestled in the rolling hills of New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island. Since December 2022, Larkin Farms is now owned and operated by Harvey and Rosemary Larkin. Previously, Harvey and Paul were co-owners along with their wives, Rosemary and Linda.
It all began decades ago, when Harvey and Paul’s dad, Roland Larkin, decided to raise a small flock of turkeys. From the very beginning, he was dedicated to ensuring his birds enjoyed a comfortable life on his mixed farm.
Roland passed his passion for raising poultry on to his sons and the farm and flock continued to grow under the Larkin Bros name. In early 2021, we decided to evolve our brand and became Larkin Farms.
Today, we raise over 13,000 birds every year on our farm and also operate a retail shop and processing plant in Crapaud.
Over the years, we have continued to expand and innovate, while remaining wholly focused on producing high-quality turkeys and chickens for our Island community.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team that helps manage the day-to-day operations of the farm and tends to our flock’s needs.
We want our customers to enjoy meals that are healthy, delicious, and convenient. That starts by raising our birds with care on the farm and continues with our in-house chef, Lincoln Key. Lincoln is passionate about crafting flavourful chicken and turkey products and recipes that everyone in the family will love, especially the person in charge of cooking!
